George Koumoutsidis was raised in Windsor, Ontario. Mr. Koumoutsidis boasts an extensive academic background, having pursued post-secondary education in both Canada and the United. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan; then pursued a further Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Geomatics from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan. Mr. Koumoutsidis further completed a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan having specialized in Transportation Engineering.
Upon completing his education, Mr. Koumoutsidis pursued his Professional Engineer in the state of Arizona, where he worked as a Project Engineer for Stantec Consulting. His efforts with the firm took him to Vancouver, British Columbia, where he participated in the design of various highways and interchanges. Mr. Koumoutsidis further pursued and currently maintains a Professional Engineer designation in Ontario, Canada. In Ontario, he worked for Parsons Corporation, having participated in the design of the Tel-Aviv Mass Transit Network; and HDR, where he currently works as a Senior Project Manager. In compliment for his appreciation of structure and design, Mr. Koumoutsidis pursued is real estate salesperson designation.
Mr. Koumoutsidis currently operates in condominium and residential resale and leasing markets. He contends that his extensive knowledge of engineering helps him better advise his purchasers and investors.
